Summary
CHS, Inc. is looking for a Terminal Operations Specialist (Supervisor Trainee) to join our TEMCO team, a joint venture between Cargill and CHS, Inc., in Tacoma, WA to record and monitor the loading of vessels/railcars and unloading of railcars with a PLC system. Vessels and rail cars will be filled with agricultural commodities to be distributed around the world.
Responsibilities
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditionsEfficiently communicate both verbal and written to all supervisors and labor work forcePromptly report any safety concerns, maintenance needs or repairs to supervisor.Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.Develop and maintain knowledge of the commodities handled at the location and comply with company policy and government regulations pertaining to commodities.Control and monitor all load out and or unloading functions.Monitor and maintain quality and quantity of inventoryPerform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School Diploma or GED1+ years of experience in production/operations
