**Overview**

This position is responsible for providing Neurological Diagnostics procedures in all patient care areas. Assess diagnostics needs of patients and works under medical supervision operating sophisticated medical equipment.

**Responsibilities**

Knowledgeable and skilled in all EEG and EMG diagnostic testing.

Job requires continuous use of reading skills and verbal communication skills.

Frequent use of written communication skills.

Job requires delegations, conflict resolution, individual and group interactions, time management, critical thinking and stress management.

Incumbents must possess knowledge of how to provide care to a diverse population of patients and the ability to communicate and work with people from a variety of age-groups, social strata and ethnic backgrounds.

**Qualifications**

One to two years clinical experience in EEG/EMG lab or medical assisting experience.

Registered Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.

BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute: CPR, PRO, must say Professional Level-with AED, and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

**Pay Range**

$20.62 - $28.35 /hour
