Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of People Services to lead human resources functions, drive employee engagement, and foster a family-friendly work environment. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can align HR initiatives with organizational goals and implement best practices in talent management, compliance, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and recommend program goals and objectives for employee relations and HR initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and administer HR programs to improve co-worker relations and organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Supervise HR staff responsible for recruitment, personnel policies, and training programs to enhance productivity at all levels.
  • Investigate employee concerns, including working conditions, disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals, providing solutions and guidance.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and ensure orientation processes are updated and effective.
  • Develop and manage the HR department's operating budget to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide direction for performance management, recommending hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Direct recruitment activities, including advertising and outreach, in collaboration with Nursing Administration and Ancillary Department Leaders.
  • Provide communication, training, and guidance to director- and manager-level associates on HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Prepare and present required reports and analyses as needed.

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Considerable knowledge of co-worker relations, HR management principles, and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Haves:
  • SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) preferred.
  • Master's degree is a plus.


Location: Hot Springs, AR (On-site role; up to 20% travel required)

Salary: $82,300 - $115,200, with a negotiable signing bonus.
