Grant Accountant- 100% Remote

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a nonprofit organization creating positive change in challenging environments around the world!
• Due to a system implementation our client is needing to bring on a Grant Accountant to assist them for the next 9 months.
• 100% Remote
• Duration: ~9 months
• Schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
• Pay: $30-34/hr depending on experience

Overview of the Grant Accountant role:

• Supporting the complete life cycle of grants, from pre-award preparation through implementation and closeout.
• Understanding of how to read the budget and create a budget vs. actual
• Working on restricted vs. unrestricted funding
• Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
• Experienced in Navision or Business Central is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
