SummaryNational Park College is currently seeking a Temporary Seasonal Maintenance and Grounds Keeper. This position is responsible for performing semi-skilled duties in maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds. The chosen candidate will work a maximum of 40 hours a week from June 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025. End date may extend into August if available. Responsibilities are listed below.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General maintenance of campus buildings and facilities Landscaping including weed eating, mowing, leaf blowing, etc. Interior and exterior painting HVAC upkeep Will help with set up and tear down of events on campus Will perform other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities: Ability to use paints, cleansers and other agents as needed Ability to perform some manual labor Ability to work well with others Ability to use, operate and maintain electrical tools Ability to use an electronic time clockEducation & Experience: General knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures for carpet, tile, upholstery and other surfaces Literacy skills are required Basic skills in carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, painting, heating and air conditioning operation is a plusPhysical Requirements: Must be 16 years of age or older The ability to lift at least 20 pounds Prolonged walking and standingThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
