Performs all types of meter service functions that include: electric turn on, turn off, removal, exchanges, rereads reconnects and tampering. Job Duties/ Responsibilities Responsible for working single phase & three phase meters on residential and commercial accounts. Performs disconnects on residential and commercial accounts due to non-payment of bill. Installs and removes different types of locks for tampering prevention. Performs other related tasks as assigned. Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings. Must render excellent customer service in a professional manner while handling customers in the field. Assists in storm restoration efforts as needed. Completes daily work tickets through the Mobile Data system. Knows and practices Entergy's applicable safety rules and safe work procedures at all times. Minimum education required of the position High School Diploma or equivalent.
