Role Description, Skills, Experience and Qualifications required: Maintenance Technician - Description and Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician is assigned to either Preventative Maintenance or Production Support functions. The role requires the highest levels of craft competencies in order to provide the necessary work activities to install, trouble-shoot, maintain, diagnose, replace, repair and maintain plant production equipment required for accomplishing concurrently active projects or Work-Orders to the level expected. Work includes a wide variety of food processing and related machinery with sub-components that use pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyance, and mechanical mechanisms. The position also requires ability to perform general electrical installation, repair and trouble-shooting of programmable logic or relay logic as well as instrument calibration. This position reports to the Sr. Production Supervisor and/or Lead Technician.
