The Garland County Landfill has an immediate opening for the position of Transfer Station Operator. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the transfer station and recycling center. Duties include the responsibility to make sure transport trucks are properly filled with waste on a timely basis, the facility is kept in a neat, clean, and orderly manner; and all records are kept of all activities at the facility are entered into the proper forms. This employee has considerable contact with contractor employees and must effectively interface with other County employees to assure a smooth operating flow for the facility.
