Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of marketing initiatives that promote the organization's brand, services, and events. This role requires strong proficiency in design and digital marketing platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, and Constant Contact. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with creating print materials, signage, digital ads, newsletters, and video content. In addition, this role provides essential on-site event support, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to run-of-show schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Design Support

  • Design and produce marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, signage, event programs, banners, and promotional materials.
  • Create digital assets for social media, websites, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Edit and produce videos for use in digital and in-person channels.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials.
Digital Marketing
  • Build and send email campaigns/newsletters via Constant Contact, including list management, segmentation, and analytics reporting.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining website content to ensure current promotions, events, and announcements are visible.
  • Draft and schedule social media posts, supporting campaigns with graphics, short-form video, and written content.
  • Track and report on digital campaign performance metrics.
Event Marketing Support
  • Assist with planning and execution of promotional strategies for community and organizational events.
  • Develop and distribute event marketing materials (print, digital, and signage).
  • Coordinate run-of-show schedules, ensuring all event elements are prepared and executed on time.
  • Provide on-site event support, including set-up, registration, signage placement, photography, and live social media coverage.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met for creative requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors for printing, promotional products, and media placements.
  • Assist in tracking marketing budgets, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain organized archives of creative assets, photos, and past campaigns.
  • Support public relations activities by drafting press releases, media alerts, or assisting with media outreach as needed.
  • Conduct market research to support marketing strategy, including competitor analysis and community trends.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-3 years of marketing or design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva, and Constant Contact.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and digital engagement best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for on-site event support.
Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., lifting 25-50 lbs).
  • Must pass a background check and adhere to community safety policies.
