What Youll Do

Responsibilities

• Access Control & Patrol: Verify credentials; grant access to authorized personnel and deny or escort unauthorized individuals.


• Access Control & Patrol: Maintain stationary posts and conduct regular interior/exterior patrols.


• Access Control & Patrol: React swiftly to alarms or disturbances; summon law enforcement as needed.


• Access Control & Patrol: Document all incidents with clear verbal briefings and comprehensive written reports.


• Deterrence & Interaction: Project a professional, high-visibility presence to discourage criminal activity.


• Deterrence & Interaction: Observe and report suspicious behavior or safety hazards.


• Deterrence & Interaction: Interact with people on the post and de-escalate potential threats.


• Client Engagement: Interact courteously with clients, visitors, and staff, upholding SafeHaven Security Groups standard of service.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: Preferred: 2 years as a credentialed CSO/CSSO or prior military/law-enforcement service.


• Licensing & Screening: Valid drivers license with a clean record.


• Licensing & Screening: Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen plus state & FBI background checks (felonies and most Class A misdemeanors disqualify).


• Education & Certification: High School Diploma or GED.


• Physical Abilities: Able to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.


• Skills: Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

We prefer to partner with someone with the following education and experience:

• High School Diploma/GED


• Ability to perform aforementioned physical tasks


• Ability to utilize a high emotional quotient


• Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check


• Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record


• Current or previous military and/or police experience is appreciated


• Successful completion of Safehaven Security Group training and testing at the time of hire to perform assigned tasks; additional training may be requested and completed as specified

• ABILITY TO PASS STATE AND FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS IS REQUIRED. ANY FELONY AND MOST CLASS A MISDEMEANORS DISQUALIFY APPLICANTS EVEN IF THE CHARGE WAS EXPUNGED.


• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 10 PANEL DRUG SCREENING.
