As an Automation Engineer, you will be an innovator for manufacturing process control and automation for the plant. You will be working with state-of-the-art automated packaging machinery and will be responsible for incorporating programmable logic controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), servo systems, sensors, cameras, and other automation components. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Design and optimize complete PLC-based control systems for automated packaging. Develop process control schemes, create programmable controller logic, and design Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics. Determine layouts of control cabinets for PLCs and touchscreen interfaces and generate electrical wiring schematics. Setup and troubleshoot integration and networking of PCs, HM - Is, PLCs, and third-party devices. Perform I/ O check out, IP addressing, start-up, and commissioning of automation equipment and controls. Conduct operation and maintenance training.
