About the Role
Join us as the Director for our Gifted and Talented Education program, where you will take the lead in nurturing the intellectual and personal growth of academically and artistically gifted students. In this vital role, you will be the chief executive officer, focused on enhancing faculty and staff development, optimizing the student experience, overseeing fiscal and administrative management, driving strategic planning, fostering innovation, and developing resources. Your leadership will inspire excellence in teaching and research, while you create a supportive residential environment.
You will lead long-range planning, program development, and initiatives shaping the future of gifted education, and build strong relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders. We are looking for candidates with proven leadership in complex organizations, exceptional administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. A Master's degree is required, with a preference for candidates who have administrative experience in secondary schools or higher education contexts with a focus on gifted and talented programming. Teaching experience, a terminal degree, and familiarity with fundraising and community engagement are highly desirable. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of advanced education, workforce development, and innovation.
