Position Summary:

The Hardware Specialist is responsible for planning and service associated with PCs and peripherals, printers, phone system, wireless phone system, cable plant management, nurse call system, and Kronos and Motorola clinical systems. Responsibilities include:
  • Provides installation and maintenance for all in-house PCs, printers, scanners, network components, mobile carts, and time clocks.
  • Images PCs to meet customer needs.
  • Assists with phone replacement and repairs to make sure telecommunication needs are met.
  • Provides first level of support for repair of copiers and faxes.
  • Coordinates repair of contract equipment.
  • Installation and repair of nurse call system.
  • Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree computer science or 3+ years related field experience
  • Three (3) years' electronic repair experience on PCs and PC based equipment
