Compensation: $21.85 per hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours worked

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment, including fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts.
  • Record maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output, and other important metrics.
  • Follow safe work practices and good manufacturing guidelines while participating in safe behavior observation programs.
  • Effectively communicate issues that hinder operations from meeting company standards.
  • Achieve or exceed performance metrics such as efficiency, production, and downtime.
  • Conduct hourly quality checks to ensure standards are met.
  • Inspect raw materials for quality before loading.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to enhance output and efficiency.
  • Participate in shift, team, and plant meetings during scheduled times.
  • Continuously measure and improve line operations as part of a team.
  • Cross-train in various areas to support operations during downtimes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation to ensure safety and adhere to good manufacturing practices.
  • Execute all duties with urgency, focusing on safety and quality.
  • Be available to work holidays and weekends as needed by the business.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in clean manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including start-up and handover meetings.
  • Experience with high-speed production and basic maintenance is a plus.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for both face-to-face interactions and radio communication.
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft applications; SAP experience is a bonus.
  • Forklift experience is desirable, though training is available for new hires.
  • Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and remain standing for extended periods.
  • Able to work in various environmental conditions, including inclement weather and fluctuating temperatures.
