As a Housekeeping Associate in Hot Springs, AR, you will play a crucial role in providing guests with an exceptional room experience. Your responsibilities include maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all spaces are properly presented and inviting for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain hotel guest rooms, public areas, and laundry according to established protocols.
  • Remove used and unused linen/terry from rooms and replace with clean linens.
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and unused amenities to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sanitizing fixtures and surfaces.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment, clean glass and mirrors.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs and ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom amenities.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies as needed.
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals and operate equipment safely.
  • Maintain organized storage closets and room attendant carts stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Conduct rounds through public areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Uphold departmental standards of quality and timing, as per customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Train new associates and support ongoing performance development.
  • Perform deep cleaning and preventative maintenance as assigned, using power equipment when necessary.
  • Observe safety precautions and report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications
  • Previous hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly.
  • Capable of bending, squatting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Weekends are required.
