Join Our Team as a Vehicle Porter!

We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Porter to assist in the movement and care of customer vehicles during the repair process. If you are passionate about customer service and have a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you!

JOB SUMMARY
The Vehicle Porter is responsible for transporting customer vehicles throughout the repair process. Additional tasks include washing and detailing vehicles, as well as maintaining a clean and safe facility.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport customer vehicles as needed for technicians and estimators.
• Perform pre-wash on incoming vehicles.
• Assist with the pick-up and delivery of vehicles when necessary.
• Work with the Detailer to prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
• Vacuum and clean the interior of each vehicle, including windows.
• Support the general maintenance of the facility (parking lot and building).
• Ensure all vehicles are secure and locked each night.
• Assist in buffing out light scratches and installing trim and cosmetic parts.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner to minimize risk of injury.
• Attend daily release meetings.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in collision repair or automotive detailing is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with others.
• Capable of working independently without close supervision.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and pull.
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping are necessary.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
• Frequent standing, sitting, and walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Paint, fumes, and particles.
• Dirt and dust.
• Chemicals and toxins.
• Varying heat and cold conditions.
• Intermittent noise.
