Job Summary:
This role provides logistics support to Inbound Transportation Vendors and Carriers, ensuring timely and effective communication with both parties. The position addresses performance issues, conducts new vendor setup, assists with order submission, and works cross-functionally to support Transportation Planning Analysts and other logistics functions. The individual also performs systems administration duties to support vendor and carrier-related issues and service needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides a high level of service to vendors and carriers, responding to incoming calls and inquiries in a timely and effective manner
  • Creates cases within ServiceNow for all incoming calls for reporting purposes
  • Answers vendor questions related to routing requests, purchase order timelines, website specifics, and POE shipments
  • Establishes new user profiles and provides access to the E-Routing website while maintaining vendor location codes
  • Performs case-by-case analysis of vendor location databases to ensure accurate access and prevent unauthorized data exposure
  • Supports vendors using Freight Order Management (FOM) and assists with E-Routing processes
  • Confirms shipping authorization numbers, modifies routings, cancels assigned routings, and verifies carrier pick-up dates
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots E-Routing issues
  • Performs systems administration duties to support vendor and operational needs
  • Educates vendors on E-Routing requirements and assists with initial order submissions
  • Processes vendor code additions for existing vendors
  • Supports Associate Planning with carrier performance issues and inquiries
  • Collaborates with Planning Analysts to resolve vendor and carrier service issues
  • Maintains flexibility to support business coverage needs, including potential holiday work
Required Experience:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in customer service, supply chain, merchandising/planning, or distribution
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact confidentially with all levels of management
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
  • High level of initiative, accountability, teamwork, and customer focus
  • Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
