A company is looking for a Physician Coder: Orthopedics.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and accurately code Orthopedic Surgery and E/M cases to maximize reimbursementWork independently to research coding scenarios and meet daily production and quality goalsStay current on coding guidelines and participate in department meetingsRequired Qualifications and EducationHigh School diploma required; Associates or BS degree preferredCompletion of an AHIMA or AAPC certified program with a valid professional credential (CCS, CPC, etc.)Minimum of 3 years of physician coding experience in OrthopedicsProficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, and billing policiesExperience with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record systems; remote work experience preferred
