Seasonal Water Tester

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas Company: Magic Springs Theme and Water Park Job Type: Seasonal

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for testing and maintaining pool chemical levels for our water park, along with additional maintenance duties as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and test water chemistry using various methods
• Skim and vacuum pools to ensure cleanliness
• Inspect, clean, and service pool filtration and circulation systems
• Perform daily safety checks on park attractions and rides and attend to any repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Maintain all appropriate documentation
• Assist the Water Park Maintenance team with projects as needed
• Be a proactive member of the maintenance team
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends

Preferred Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic knowledge of pool equipment
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers, and management
• Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently and have a positive attitude
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems and present solutions for a variety of situations.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk or stand for up to eight hours a shift
• Requires occasional kneeling and bending
• Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling
• Requires occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds
• Requires occasional carrying of up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck
• Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech
