Job Title: Executive Director, Arkansas Learning Through The Arts

Arkansas Learning Through The Arts (ALTTA) is looking for a person qualified as an Executive Director, to become a key employee in its Hot Springs Village, AR office to serve Central Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta area

About ALTTA:

Arkansas Learning Through The Arts (ALTTA) serves Central Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta, placing short-term arts residencies into classrooms, libraries, and after school programs. Teaching Artists from all arts disciplines bring arts techniques to classrooms across the curriculum, engaging students in literacy-based programs and project-oriented activities.

About this Opportunity:

The Executive Director reports to the President of the Board of Directors and is responsible for directing and managing the organization. Primary responsibilities include strategic planning to ensure growth, managing staff to ensure implementation of the strategic plan, direct selling and marketing ALTTA's workshops, overseeing their effectiveness, ensuring Arkansas curriculum standards are met, engaging in fundraising and the establishment of partnerships with educational and arts organizations, and maintaining the overall fiscal health of the organization.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in a relevant area (public administration, non-profit management, professional sales, the arts).
• Experience in education and interest in/knowledge of the arts is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent programs, and database usage is required.

Salary and Benefits:

Pay Range: $65,000-$80,000 per year
